DO I EVEN NEED ANY COVER?

This is the biggest thing we get asked

Activity and event planning can be a daunting task and many event organisers are not sure if they require medical cover (if any) for their event. As well as your staff or volunteers, HSE strongly recommends that you include the visiting public in your risk assessment. They want to make sure you will have enough medical assistance and/or ambulances on site and that you liaise with your local NHS and ambulance service so they can balance your needs against their local capacity. When working with local NHS and/ OR Ambulance trust they will also advise that you pick a company that is registered otherwise they may not work with the company you pick.
